The decision to further your education can seem very challenging, even intimidating. ICT/ILS has taken steps to make the process as simple and as straight forward as possible. This section is devoted to people that currently reside in other countries that would like to pursue English or Technology training in the United States, or for people that are currently in the United States that wish to attend school here through a Student VISA.

Federal grants are available for those who qualify. Read more to see if you are eligible.
The Federal PELL Grant is an important source of gift aid for students who demonstrate financial need. Applications are available through high school counselors and the Financial Planning Department. The student applies independently and submits the results of his/her application to a Financial Planner. The amount of the award depends upon the student's determination of eligibility, his/her enrollment status, cost of attendance, and a payment schedule issued by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Each year the institution makes a limited number of awards to students through this program. These funds are targeted for those students who qualify, based upon financial need, and who would not be able to attend without this assistance. The Financial Planner determines who will receive Federal SEOG and the amount of the award. The students who are Federal PELL Grant recipients having the lowest family contribution are awarded first.

After leaving ICT, I got a job designing dental work using a new software program that not many people have the background/skills to do. My employer felt that my CIS background provided the foundation to assume this position and I am happy to say that what I went through in the Career Development class prepared me to sell myself in a big way.
You should have seen me in the interview! I was dazzling, amazing and charming, to say the least. Then after all that was said and done, the thank you letter I wrote to the person interviewing me was so spectacular that within an hour after sending the letter, I received a job offer. I feel that part of the reason that I received the job offer was because of the skills that I acquired from ICT.
