This is our newest program of study, and perhaps one of the most forward-thinking programs you will find
This program is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and professional growth opportunities in many business settings. The student acquires the essential skills in the most popular applications software, as well as additional software skills that are critical to the successful day-to-day usage, sharing, and management of information for many enterprises.
The BIM program enables a student to pursue a variety of career pathways, including Project Management, Desktop Publishing, Business Graphics, Web Design, Database Management, Sales/Customer Service Support, Business Schematics and more.
It includes such popular applications as Adobe Dreamweaver and PhotoShop, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Microsoft Project, just to list a few.
This program also includes Microsoft Certification in any of the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) components taken to satisfy graduation requirements.
As with all programs at ICT/ILS, this course includes an externship. An Externship is a program component that assigns a student to a partnering company for 135 hours, giving the student the opportunity to put his/her new skills to use and gain real-life experience. ICT/ILS is one of the few schools that offer this as part of a student’s training in every program of study.

After leaving ICT, I got a job designing dental work using a new software program that not many people have the background/skills to do. My employer felt that my CIS background provided the foundation to assume this position and I am happy to say that what I went through in the Career Development class prepared me to sell myself in a big way.
You should have seen me in the interview! I was dazzling, amazing and charming, to say the least. Then after all that was said and done, the thank you letter I wrote to the person interviewing me was so spectacular that within an hour after sending the letter, I received a job offer. I feel that part of the reason that I received the job offer was because of the skills that I acquired from ICT.
