Earn your Bachelor’s Degree through MSU while on campus at ICT!

Morehead State University, a public coed university located in Eastern Kentucky, was founded in 1887 as Morehead Normal School. Morehead currently has over 9,000 students from 34 states and 36 countries. MSU offers 78 undergraduate degree programs, 51 graduate degree programs, and has proposed a doctoral degree program for Spring of 2010.

MSU was the first university to offer a M.B.A. online in the state of Kentucky. MSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The College of Business is accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). MSU has been recognized for the sixth consecutive year as one of the top public universities in the South according to the 2010 edition of U.S. News & World Report. Working together with NASA, MSU erected a space tracking system as the first component of the universities Space Science Center. Nearly two-thirds of the MSU faculty hold doctoral degrees. The current president of Morehead State University is Dr. Wayne D. Andrews.

The program offered by Morehead and through ICT is the Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration with options for General Business or Computer Information Systems. This partnership allows Office Technology and Computer Information System Associate Degree graduates to transfer directly into MSU’s B.B.A. program.

The B.B.A. program will be conducted through the ICT campus. To assist students in the transition, ICT will provide special Admissions and Financial Aid personnel, while MSU will provide onsite Academic advising and retention counseling personnel.

Classes are scheduled to begin in Fall of 2010. Initially courses will be delivered online through ICT’s new Distance Education Center soon to be located in Robert’s Hall.

We are excited about what this partnership means for ICT students. With this partnership an ICT student could do two years of English language training, two years of Associate of Science training, earn a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and finally earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – all without leaving the ICT campus.
